Marandut Jungle Camp
The Marangdut Jungle Camp is the first authentic jungle camp located along the Drangme Chhu River near the Royal Manas Park. True to its name the jungle camp comprise of semi- permanent camps of thatched roof made of bamboo leaves instead of the usual corrugated iron sheet roofing.
The 8 tented camps is furnished with comfortable twin beds with basic room amenities, however the rest rooms are about 2 meters away from the camps with modern bathroom and shower facilities. With a common dining hall, their restaurant serves traditional delicacies of wild ferns, orchids and wild edibles unique to the region.
The nearby forests and stream provide ample opportunities to explore the wildlife, swimming, river rafting and short hikes in and around the camp.
