Bomdelling Park is an internationally acclaimed hotspot and home to many globally endangered and endemic species like the Bhutan Swallowtail Butterfly (Bhutanitis Ludlowi), snow leopard, Royal Bengal Tiger, Red Panda, Black Necked Cranes and many more.
It is a pleasant easy walk of about two hours from the road along beautiful and remote villages till the office of the Bomdelling National Park. The Park is inhabited by a rich assortment of various species of flora and fauna and is a home to around 100 species of mammals, including globally endangered species. Another prominent religious and cultural picturesque monastery called Rigsum Gompa is also found inside the Sanctuary.
While you can enjoy your packed lunch at a scenic picnic spot, however there are also traditional farmhouses that serve lunch on order.
